According to Strygas information, she had a contact point with a friend in Ramat Gan near Holon. Carolins sister confirmed the death of Carolin and her British boyfriend in Kibbutz Nir Oz near the Gaza Strip in a post on the social network Instagram. According to Stryga, it was the sister who contacted him. Together with Holons partnership representative, he supported the return of the body to Germany.

But she believes that the Israeli people are strong. It has always shown bravery when it comes to standing in the way of terrorists. This can be seen again now, as people help each other.
