Dear Gina,

Following our encounter in Alice Spring, Australia in December 1993 (the week before Christmas), I never stopped thinking about you. Unfortunately, our roads have separated us so much that we lost contact a year after our last letter exchages.

I have never been a social media person and I guess neither did you so trying to find you back has never been possible (even though I tried and tried and tried for so long).

It is now so sad that I will only be able to exchange with you through my thoughts and my heart until we meet again where you are now. I just hope that our reunion will be as warm, full of love and happiness just like our first and last encounter that I wished had never ended.

The image of the first time I saw you (you were showing your back without knowing I was staring at you) in the water hole in Alice Spring has remained burned into my brain like I would have seen you an hour ago. Your slim silouette and your long dard hair has attracted me like the strongest magnet. I remember every single moment we spent together from that moment, the spare tire I showed you how to install (without lifting a finger because I have let you handled the whole job by yourself - you thanked me by telling me I was the best teacher you had ever met), our first dinner together, our project to go on a camping date for a couple of days, the afternoon we spent in the sand holding hands under the warm sun,... These are not souvenirs but an ever lasting presence into my heart. I have remained so greatful to you for having shared those precious but too short moments with me.

If anyone reading those lines wish to discuss this short passage of Ginas life (and mine), dont hesitate to write to me. I will be so happy to share those precious moments that will bring me back to those amazing days.
